Personally I cant stand the places. I liked to have a beer with mine and sit in a comfy seat without interruption from people all around me so I gave up many years ago. Plus the cost is ridiculous.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Last time was early 90's and it was sooo expensive then, besides having to drive and pay parking fees (used to walk to local flea-pit - went twice a week when courting). A set-up, such as described earlier by someone; local, small, tables to chat at would attract me. Where I lived in France there was one like that in every town, usually at the village Salle. I think I will suggest it at the next Community Centre Committee meeting. Thanks Scooping (just remembered who posted concept).
