To be fair to Old_Geezer he like anyone else is allowed to hold his own opinions on certain matters, just as we all are.

Just because they happen to different from your own is no reason for his opinions to be lambasted.

I have no opposition towards gays, although I oppose gay marriages, but whatever our differences events such as this are not going to alter our own personal views, in fact I would go as far to say they only alienate them further.

For example say it happened to be a march by say the EDL, would that alter your own personal feelings towards them?

Homophobes don't need to worry, homosexuality is not likely to become compulsory in the near future. Ever heard of live and let live? Pride is at least to some extent paid for by commercial sponsors, must be good for business? I once watched Pride in London, very joyful and colourful. It's a party, a celebration, people having a good time. Weirdly, I didn't feel threatened or inconvenienced, and certainly not cross.
