kvalidir - you are confused if you think people expressing an opinion that NHS should not be funding a sex change is transphobia. It is not. Just because some people do not feel the NHS should be funding this type of operation doesn't automatically make them transphobic, and it is naïve to think that it does.

If you read the Link it is obvious that the Pregnancy is not what is being funded,
///Since the birth Scott has resumed life as a man and is continuing with his transition – planning to have an operation to remove his breasts next year. More surgery to transform other organs could follow.
The taxpayer-funded process costs an average of £29,000.///
And I for one did not imply that in my Post.

Naomi I think it is you who is'muddled' in failing to understand that your views are misplaced and blatantly transphobic. There are a lot of people on here so riddled with social and political dogma that they either do not understand or choose to ignore points reasonably put to them and I'll continue to point that out to them (including you) as and when I see it occur, but glad you're taking notice.
kvalidir, yes, I do take notice of you occasionally - which is why I respond - occasionally - to your right-on claptrap.

It is not.

You take notice of me occasionally Naomi- I may just die for joy :/
Deskdiary I didn't suggest that whatsoever, in fact I question that myself, however I think calling transgender people 'muddled' IS transphobic.
Oh well, at least you'll die happy. ;o)
@kvalidir......I think you are really confused as regards Genders. If I am correct, you recently posted that your partner was Bi-sexual which then made me assume you were likewise.

Hans.
I don't think being muddled or confused are prerequisites for being either Trans or Bi , and remember what they say about 'assume'.
Mamyalynne, I don't think anyone said that being muddled or confused is a prerequisite - did they?
I don't believe I said they did , did I?
@Mamyalynne.....What exactly is said about 'assumed'. ?

Hans.
Mamyalynne, you implied it. Why else would you talk about prerequisites? No one else has.
It's never a good idea.
^^ What's never a good idea.

Hans.
Hans, never use the word 'assume', it makes an ass out of u and me
Thanks albaqwerty.......I had never heard of the expression, despite my advanced years.

Hans.

Sorry Hans , I was too chicken to say it.

I didn't imply anything just stated my views Naomi.
I see you've said "end of" twice on one page, TTT. Did the first one somehow not work?

Perhaps you aren't expressing yourself forcefully enough? Try inventing some rhyming slang for it.
I first heard Benny Hill use that as a "joke" and I inwardly cringed. Later a schoolfriend said it and I cringed more. I'm amazed folk have the confidence to bring it up still, I'd be too embarrassed.
