/// The young Prince is reportedly “adamant on leading a normal life”, with sources claiming he will not think twice in shunning some of his royal responsibilities should he marry the US
actress. ///

If he is so adamant at leading a 'NORMAL' life, perhaps he should consider getting a real job?

//Who decides what 'Normal' is? //

Well its certainly not 'normal' for MOST folk to have cooks, cleaners, butlers, chauffeurs, gardeners, bodygards etc
The ones you mention were 2nd in line to the throne. Harry is 5th.
Yes but you defined normal in your way, I know of wealthy people who own their own planes and work best part of 100 hours per week and live in a house I could get lost in , they are perfectly normal and have worked for their trappings.

I have little but am comfortable and apart from being 'mad as toast' am as normal as they come.

Normality is different things to different folk.
//Normality is different things to different folk. //

And that is exactly why Prince Harry should choose his words carefully.
Does he mean normal as in having all the privilages of wealth why not doing anything to deserve them or normal as in how the rest of us have to live?
His words?

Have we established they are his words?
He may just aim for Normal For Norfolk as a starter.

He seems to enjoy the broads.
//Does he mean normal as in having all the privilages of wealth//
I meant to say 'inherited wealth'
////His words?

No, not yet. Might be bunk.
Extremely rich, privileged man, complaining.
Swap anyday. Wouldn't you?
Spend ur 'working' hours doing more strenuous than cutting ribbons and been nice to the unfortunate?
In return have a life of luxury, occasional photo in the press, and servants at your disposal. No contest.

/// what a great envoy he would be for children's or refugees rights ! ///

Yes Mikey, and since he does so much for charity, perhaps he should also consider giving up his 'millions' to overseas aid?
A: Define normal

B: Is it really important to everyone?

C: Why can't someone make a decision on how they lead their lives regardless of who their parents are/were?

If he doesnt want to carry out Royal duties then fine, but nothing from the public purse except for security.

As for working for 10 years, he has another 37 year approx to complete to be normal like the rest of us. if that is what he wants.
//charlie will say no//

Charlie obviously is an expert in marital affairs,,,,,,snicker snicker.
Can't imagine him taking too much notice of old jug ears.
Royal duties ? What like turning up, smiling (or not), shaking hands, cutting ribbons, kissing babies in public ? Wow how arduous. None of them do anything sufficient to deserve the privileges they enjoy. Good luck to him with regards to his love life, but he does have a moral duty to give back to society in proportion to what he receives. Silly me though, he's royal, it's not possible to give that much.

What strange values we have, perfectly acceptable to call our next King "old jug ears", but way betide one if one calls one by the 'N' word or 'P' word.
In fact one would not be allowed to type or print those also insulting and offensive descriptive words.

No short from whence they came, such a disgusting word, such as Brit, Aussie, Frenchie, Yank etc, etc.
I think it is overly simplistic to dismiss Harry's privelidged life as something we would enjoy, given the chance.

I could never cope with never being alone, or always being watched in pubic and in private - there is not enough money in the world to make that life worthwhile.

Although that said, I'd give it a try if Megan Markle was popping over for the weekends!!!!
