I regret that you should descend into foul language, which in the interests of concentrating on the matter in hand I'll ignore.
As you seem reluctant to be drawn on your premise I will throw the following at you:
In today's Times Justin Webb, intriguingly, suggests that far from being some sort of liberator against the PC forces of oppression, Trump is actually a product of the "liberal" obsession with trashing or at least ignoring, what are known as "civics" (notions of national pride and "citizenly" behaviour), the "morons" Trump appeals to (to use the language of those nasty trendy elites) being an American electorate who have been fed too long on conflict and a sort of constant, anti-Patriotic self-beating (how ironic for a man "who'd make America great again")
He claims and I quote
"The awful truth is dawning on thoughtful Americans that the trashing of norms of behaviour (ie as he sees it by such as Trump and his entourage) has been enabled by well-meaning but naive liberals who thought those norms were not worth teaching in class"
I'll leave that with you (when I say "leave" by the way, it doesn't mean I am actually "leaving" ok? :-) )
