At least Corbyn hasn't shook the hand of the megalomaniacal dictator, unlike May with Erdogan.

Gromit, so according to you a leader shaking hands with another leader equates to ‘lauding’. I think that’s what’s commonly known as scraping the barrel.
To be fair on May (and lord knows I despise her), being a bit sycophantic to tyrants abroad is kind of necessary to some degree or another for someone who governs a modern state (especially one which is as insignificant as the UK actually is). So I don't really have a problem with her swallowing her bile and shaking hands with evil governments. I don't think it's something she would do on her own time.

Corbyn has tweeted nice things about Hugo Chavez when there was no pressing need for him to do so except for personal enthusiasm. I don't think that's particularly important either, but in the interest of fairness I don't think the comparison holds up.
Thank you, Krom. Neither do I.
