Lots of people have been subjected to a very unsatisfactory life but most don't become muggers, rapists or muderers I think
(don't have any link to support that suggestion.
'Mr Ekwall Tiwana, defending, said that his client was very drunk at the time of the offence and had only been drunk once before in his life.'
Being drunk is surely no defence? Obviously the scuzzbucket didn't suffer from brewer's droop.
Hope he gets the maximum sentences.

Sigh, I doubt he was passed from pillar to post etc by an airline or reputable maritime service so on balance, yes, he's likely anotcats or dubious family tiesher great loss to the law, medicine or engineering.
Hopefully be able to pop off home when he's done his time, no mention of pet cats or dodgy family ties.

No the crime would not have been worse, but if he does happen to be one of those controversial 'child' migrants that we heard so much about at the time, then if the authorities had not been so easily tricked, he might not have arrived here and that brutal rape and assault would never have taken place, not by that particular piece of garbage at least.

AOG - that is faulty logic, and is impossible to apply.
If the next person to assault a woman has red hair, should we look at monitoring all red-headed children, in case they grow up to do the same thing?
Sociopaths and criminals are created in tandem with their ethnicity and experience, not directly because of it.
Would you be asking the question if the man was a British born GP - Harold Shipman for example?

alba - I think we are all finding that even cursory examination of the question demolishes it very quickly.

Could this man be a 'child immigrant'? As I said, he could, but that has no bearing on his behaviour.
If, as AOG appears to infer, his life and experience made him a rapist, then why are all imigrants not criminals, and why are not all UK natives paragons of virtue?
Because, as I pointed out - this logic is flawed, and the debate is losing traction with every subsequent post.
