I remember him introducing acts on Sunday night at the London Palladium. Also the game that was part of the show. Beat the clock.....catchphrase "I'm in charge"

So sad to hear of his passing. he was a great multi talented entertainer.
I feel like I've known him all my life, I remember the early days of the London Palladium where the beatles , stones, supremes etc had their early success.
