How Did Di Die?

In their latest interview about the loss of their mum, Prince William and Harry blame the paparazzi for taking photos of Di in the crashed car rather than helping her. I wonder if that's the explanation they were given at the time, rather than the drunk driver going too fast....or Di being deliberately bumped off. Do you think it was an accident or murder?

For the very last time .........Diana died because the car she was in, crashed at high speed. There were 4 people in the car and the only one to survive was the only one with a seat belt on.

I drove through that tunnel a 3 weeks after the accident, and anybody driving over 40 mph was driving recklessly. The Mercedes was going considerably faster.

So please ....no more daft conspiracy theories....she died because she wasn't wearing her seat belt.

It was a tragic accident, the whole World lost 'The Peoples Princess how we've survived this long afterwards I just don't know.

By the way, I saw some photos of Diana taken immediately after the crash, and wished I hadn't. Those photos are not on the 'net any longer, thanks goodness.

It was a horrible accident, not helped by the paps chasing her car. If the palace had really wanted to have her "bumped off", which I doubt very much, there must have been easier ways to do it.

Jo... As you say, killing her in a car crash along with other people would be an extraordinarily complicated and convoluted way to achieve an assassination.

There is no evidence, whatsoever, that the Palace or anyone else wanted Diana "bumped off"

But for credulous fans of daft conspiracy theories, I'm afraid this one will run and run.

But that's true. It's also true that the driver was drunk, and it's also true that had she been wearing her seatbelt, she may well have survived.

Out of those three elements though, I think the one that would upset most children of deceased parents is the idea that rather than doing something to try and help, paparazzi stood around taking pictures to sell on for profit.

Could she have been saved at that point?

Doubtful - but plain human empathy should've kicked in amongst those photographers.
