How Did Di Die?

In their latest interview about the loss of their mum, Prince William and Harry blame the paparazzi for taking photos of Di in the crashed car rather than helping her. I wonder if that's the explanation they were given at the time, rather than the drunk driver going too fast....or Di being deliberately bumped off. Do you think it was an accident or murder?

Realistically...how easy would it be to get a driver to crash a car while being chased by paps?

Ummm...I can't think of any reason whatsoever, why Diana couldn't have married Dodi. She was divorced to the heir to the throne, deprived of her Royal Highness, and she wasn't in line for the throne.

While her marriage to a Muslim would have been distasteful to some here in Britain, I can't see any legal bar to it happening.

I think it was Mohamed Al-Fayed who started the rumours.

Am sure it was Mr Al-Fayed who pointed the finger at the Duke of Edinburgh (utter nonsense, but he was grieving and angry)

Who on earth would allow themselves to be driven by a guy who was drunk tho? Did he appear sober?
Am sure this has all be aired before but I can't recall anything about that. Would be grateful if someone could refresh me memory, thanks x

Albs - I could be twice over the drink drive limit and appear sober.

The driver was a habitual drunk. He could easily appear sober while way over the limit.

they would not know as the car was brought to them at the back door..although it has been reported that rees-jones.. bodyguard was unhappy at the arrangements in place ..too many paps about to move and I think he also had an inkling about the driver's condition ?

He wasn't way over the limit though. Twice over isn't that much really. Even a sober person would barely notice someone twice over the limit.

I actually don't know. Of course there are some conspiracy theories but there are too many unanswered questions. The white car following for example. I saw something very recently which said the Merc was going so fast it actually lifted off the ground and hit a wall before the entrance to the tunnel. I think this one will go on like it or not.

I read on here (somewhere on AB) that this is the only time the Princes will talk about their mother.

Sometimes I think we forget that there are other families who have also been bereaved in that accident.

I really thought we had done this one to death!
She died because she was not wearing a seat belt!!
There have been similar crashes at higher speed in the same model of car and seat belted passengers have come out with only bruising.
Why she was not wearing a seat belt can only be guessed at but that is what killed her.

I think every single aspect of the accident that might have led one to believe in some sort of conspiracy has been comprehensively debunked by anyone willing to investigate the facts with an open mind.
But, in a sense that is irrelevant: as others have pointed out, there will always be those who think the truth is just part of the conspiracy, especially when there's a bit of cash to be made out of another book ...
