Reading another book about the 2016 election and I find it extraordinary that the Clinton Foundation received a staggering $2billion in contributions from foreign governments.

Politics is all about investments - if you want a sympathetic leader in another country, you pump money into to make sure they are elected.

Strangely nonfactual book. The $2bn is the total raised since 1997 and is from lots of sources, not just Governments.

The Clinton Foundation's money isn't just intended to fund political campaigns. I'd do a bit of research (other than your book) before commenting further.
