Well I am pleased for all of them. I hope HRH Duchess of Cambridge overcomes her HG and is delivered safely of a healthy child.

As for "another royal to be paid for by the tax payer", I wasnt aware they were on the Civil list and thought they were funded by the Duchy of Cornwall. Of course the Duke is incredibly wealthy in his own right having inherited many millions of pounds from his late mother.

Fantastic news I wish the couple well.
For those saying they have to pay for another mouth to feed - nope you don't.
You pay 63p a year out of your taxes towards the Royal Family, it won't go up just because another Royal child is born.

How unfortunate that they have had to release the news early, I am sure they don't want everyone to know so early - they must be aware how bored people get with the constant updates over the pregnancy.

That's a fair point Islay. Many people dont announce until after the first trimester and she has no choice because of the goldfish bowl she lives in.

At least now we know we have at least another 6-7 months with endless speculation by the press.............

Although on the bright side, the Duke should get paternity leave just in time for the World Cup ;)
