never, judge, they only like democracy when it gives the "correct" answer. Anyway, it is their right to protest however pointless it may be.
We all judge all the time. If folk wish to embarrass themselves by trying to overthrow a democratic decision it's a sad reflection but their choice.
A a graph that tries to change a result by adding in those not eligible to vote. Heck, why not get the Asian, Australian, American, etc. votes added in too ?
^ I think we can safely add the 6% of Eu citizens who were resident in the UK but not qualified to vote to the Remain camp.
Does not look like a majority to me and that is without the non voters, who are more 'Remain' than 'Leave' but thought that remain was such a forgone conclusion it was not worth voting.
ah bless still relying on the non voters, tell you what eddie as we don't know what they would have voted, lets add half to each side eh, tada! sorted!
However you put it no one can say the majority of the UK population was for Leave.
I don't see that as "safe" at all. They are non-UK citizens with a vested personal interest in the country they aren't a citizen of keeping open borders with the EU and the country they are citizens of. They're the last group to give a vote to.
The strange thing is, they say are "embarrassed and ashamed", but beyond that they don't say why Britain should remain. I would like to ask them "If the UK was outside of the EU now, would you want to join it and why?".
It's not anti-democratic to demonstrate against a decision you don't agree with.

It is, in my opinion, if you alter the result or ignore its implementation.

The MPs from whatever UK party or devolved power who vote against it because they don't want it or they are voting against because they want to change it or they have 'other' motivations are the anti-democratic ones.

Any one who didn't vote should go home, shut up and sit on their hands with their fingers up their harrises like they did on voting day.

Everyone else is allowed to believe project fear and be unhappy if they so chose to be.

They're wasting their time. Brexit, as voted for by the majority, isn't going to happen.
"However you put it no one can say the majority of the UK population was for Leave. " - on that basis no government has ever had a majority. Stop playing semantics with the stats, the majority of those entitled to vote that voted voted brexit, end of. If remain had won would you be doing the same?
The majority of those that bothered to get out of their beds, take a bit of time and made the effort to vote, voted to leave.

All those that didn't bother shot themselves in the foot if they wanted to stay in the EU.

No second chances. No Oh sorry I didn't realise it was important. They had a chance and decided, for whatever reason to not bother.

Therefore the majority did vote to leave.
It doesn't matter if they are "right" or "wrong"...they still have the right to voice their opinions. I thought that was what democracy was about.
Yes, ironic isn't it Pasta.
i did say that at 11:38
You did Tora, but it was prefaced by a comment which made it rather ironic.
yes, I can accept the right to protest but I still think it is unreasonable to demand that the referendum result be ignored.
