If You Found Out There Was A Transgendered Child At A School Your Child Was Attending, Would You Take Them Out Of Said School?

I can understand the concern of the parents involved - they're being confronted with something they don't understand, but withdrawing their children from contact with all other children in their school?
Is that wise?
What would you do?

I would not withdraw my child because she was surrounded by nasty little brats who behaved badly and were generally horrible - which are personal choices - so I wouldn't dream of withdrawing her because of a transgender child in her school - any more than I would withdraw her if a black or Asian child joined.
Part of education is learning that we are not all the same in lots of ways - it doesn't make us bad people.

I watched an interview with them today. They are NOT suing the school. The are taking the school to some sort of educational tribunal to try and stop it.
It wouldn't bother me and I don't think seeing a boy in a dress would influence my children either way. They are who they are...don't think it'll make for an easy school life though for the little boy.
My youngest son done some strange things...but I wouldn't let him go out in a dress.

Wouldn't happen in my day , then there were boys and girls, so no decision to make.....no fuss.....education continued and we all "lived " tolerably together.
Now we have developed, expressed ourselves, feel and dress on the emotions.....and the joke is that this has been accepted.
Now....your problem.

That's so sad, SP..... and whatever they say, bullying comes in many forms...
Sad for the child they want removed to a private space and sad for their own children especially if they are going to be home schooled by these parents...
As for being Christians? Not in a million years if a Christian still follows the teachings of Christ....x

For me it would depend on the circumstances. If I felt the school was using it to push a right on agenda then yes I would find another school. The fact this appears to be the second case for thus school does raise alarm bells for me.
As for the dress at school the simple answer is trousers for all no exceptions.
