It does happen here. Everyone has to show their face when requested by immigration - and usually they do. Women in burqas or veils are allowed to show their face discretely to a woman official.
The officials won't allow anyone in to the country if they don't show their faces, hereIam. The consequence is they are put back on a plane to where they flew from.
I think Theo Frankin is being totally unprofessional in Tweeting about passengers. Maybe he should get on with his job. And she wasn't deported as you have to enter a country to be deported. She was inadmissable but I guess that doesn't sound as dramatic
