I seem to recall that even before her crime she had been banned from training with patients. Previous behaviour is no guarantee of future actions, except in her case.
Is it correct that there were three separate charges for attacking the man......two to remain on file....
That she attacked a fellow female student in the street causing the girl to ask to be moved from the block they shared and that she violently threatened another student when he tried to help her with her addiction?
I can certainly see the argument that someone who regularly gets so coked off their face that they end up stabbing a loved one might not actually be a danger to society.
It sets an interesting legal precedent, will there now be a list of occupations which get let off and others that don't? Had her aspirations been deemed less worthy would she have been let off a prison sentence? I hope he sues her through the civil courts for damages, she certainly can't plead it never happened.
