Gromit, I think we must agree to differ.
If anyone has posted a thread about the Muslim doctor being stabbed in the neck, my apologies for missing it.

Maybe, just maybe some folk might see this attack on the 15 year old as an attack of terrorism, I still think it's religious/racial.

Time will tell no doubt.
Gromit...your analogy with the "Troubles" doesn't really seem to apply here. The IRA were fighting to free NI of the Brits. I can't see that either Sunnis or Shias are trying to achieve that.
They passed off the stabbing murder of Glasgow shopkeeper Asad Shah as a sectarian killing, when it was an act of terrorism. Ditto this one.
Gromit. No suggestion of politics being involved here.

It really depends on whther the purpetrator was a member of or insprired by ISIS. If either of these then terror if no then no.

I dont think we have the evidence at hand to judge adequately at present and no doubt even if it was terrorist the Police would attempt to cover it up as them seem to be doing lately.
Danny,//No suggestion of politics being involved here. //

If the killer was inspired by IS there is. At the moment though that can't be confirmed or denied. Too many ifs and buts.
But then we could have the debate on whther ISIS is a political outfit or a religious one.

Er, are you claiming that IS do not have political aims ?
The witnesses say it was an IS attack. Until a better motive comes out, I will believe them.
Like I say Gromit, it would be an interesting debate on whther ISIS are political, religious or a mix.

I suspect we would get arguments for all corners.
Gromit.
//The witnesses say it was an IS attack// Pure speculation on the part of the witnesses.Where is the proof?

They heard what the attacker was saying during the attack, so they made deductions about the motive and the assailant.
I did preface my original comment by saying it was speculative. Let's see what emerges.
Some witnesses said the attack on the imam was attempted murder

The attempt at murdering someone was pretty useless ... you wouldn't hire him as a hit-man.

Let me be the first to wish that this youngster makes a complete recovery from his injuries, it must be a very worrying time for his relatives.
That poor family, my heart goes out to them - hope the young man pulls through.

I'm sorry I have no answers for any of your questions.

He is in Court on Wednesday, and we will probably know more then, when the press can publish more about him.
