Labour have never chosen a female PM, yet the Tories have had two, both of which have been extensively criticised by Labour, can we take it from this that Labour are against the idea of placing a woman in charge of the country?

It may come as a shock to SQAD but there are also lesbian Tory MPs and the current S of S for Education is in a same-sex relationship.

Because those features and characteristics of a woman are important to me....my upbringing, the era into which i was born.
I am not asking other people to agree with me or even sympathise with my comments......it is just the way that i view life.

Labour have been in power for 17% of their existence, surely the gender of the leader is almost as irrelevant as the party itself.

For what it's worth I agree with Sqad I too am from the era which decrees a certain type of woman
