One thing we can take from this thread is that the crime rate rising 13% is not linked to the spread of radical Islam.
Some confusion seems to have arisen from Trump's use of the word "report":

A normal interpretation would be that the official "report" of the crime rise figures also mentioned Radical Islam. But it didn't. Instead, the "report" Trump is referring to is contained in some unnamed rag that mentioned both the official report and the spread of Radical Islam. A shame he did not say that. Sad.
