I cant see that this has been a problem for any previous campaign.
Even the IRA - no one said oops if they go back to wherever they will bomb their new homes to hades......
and in 1936 the returning Spanish fighters ( International brigade - reds if ever I saw one) werent interned in England
( they were in France - 1936-40 and then the lucky survivors were reinterned in Mauthausen 1940-45)

and now we spend almost as much time on this as we do Brexit

If brought to trial, what evidence will be used? Most if not all intelligence on these people is covert and/or sensitive and is unusable in a court.

Seems to me unwise to accept back those who think as they do. Different matter to having them already here and needing to deal with that situation. If there is a legal way to prevent it I think it should be tested.
