Yes indeed it is a church within the Anglican Convention.....but the "Christian Church" cannot wonder anything because as a body, it does not exist.

The vicar who married us used to say that the best hymn for weddings was "Through the Night of Doubt and Sorrow"

The Christian Church is suffering declining numbers because as a society we are moving towards a more secular and rational mindset.

Most committed church-goers aren't really phased by what hymns are chosen ....... it's usually older grumblies with a particular axe to grind who chunter on about PC nonsense...
