The 'sugar-tits' comment is different and more worrying. Depends on the age of the secretary. Again, I'd have done a 'Lady Bracknell', but a young woman might not have had the confidence. There should have been some system whereby he could be firmly admonished and made to apologise. Just the existence of such a thing would make people think twice.
