A Fool And His Money ...
46 Answers
Perhaps I am getting old but I really dont get this. It's a ruddy phone, I have had a mobile since 1990 and I can't remember getting worked up about any of the ones I have bought.
Not that I would ever buy Apple.
Can anyone who knows the reason for it explain to me why the euphoria?

I've had and worked with Macs for decades, and they're great. But my phone is a £12 Nokia. All it does is phone (oh, and it does have a little torch, which is handy).
Pick and choose; pick well, pay the rate, ignore the kiddies (and not-so-young kiddies) and their hysteria.

Yes I did the same fender as I said earlier up.
I run many apps on it - have kids that use the phone a lot so i need whatsapp tc and I use the camera for evidence when doing building/electrical work. I also use the Sat Nav as I have a Bury hands free in the car that is dash mounted properly. It also has many other apps such as my cctv poker games, chess games and email on it and works fine.
Each to their own but I just cant see what anyone is really getting for their money. It used to be the case a new phone gave you useful additional functionality. I just dont see that really happening now.

yea and the camera thing, its a zillion megagalaxies pictures, err and..
example, my daughter takes pics constantly..really, so im assuming she must have thousands, and what becomes of them, their on memory cards..and...i have old sweet tins under the bed with colour and black and white pics from my youth and family etc, might have a gander every other year if that, its just a novelty, gps is useful maps etc and actually making a phone call, i dont know perhaps im just past it...

I remember a friend of mine dropping his pager down the loo ( a number of years ago). The secretaries face when he plonked it on her desk broken and still dripping was a right picture.
My wife once washed my HTC in the machine. I took it apart and it cost £15.00 to replace the LCD. Can't do that with an Apple!
