/// who is jumping up and down Talbot?
Had this been a person of colour regardless of a church shooting or not you know fairwell what would be said! ///

And the cap fitted perfectly.
Eh AOG? You are making little sense this morning ( or any other come to think of it).
naomi that is a SEMI automatic rifle, NOT a self loading fully automatic rifle. There is a huge difference. One is legal in the UK the other is not. A fully automatic has a magazine with up to 50 rounds that can be fired sequentially just by keeping your finger on the trigger . A semi auto is single shot with auto reload, you have to pull the trigger for each shot. Semi autos are used by target shooters, fully autos are used by mass killers.
Why is race being crowbarred into this thread?
Eddie, oh, ok. That's alright then.

Deskdiary, I was wondering that too.
EDDIE51 / -Talbot-

Where are you getting the Antifa references from?

Snopes are saying that there is no evidence of this:

https://www.snopes.com/texas-church-shooter-antifa/
// Isnt Antifa sp1814's side? ... they are domestic terrorists. //

I see what you did there. You have labelled an ABer as a terrorist. And don’think the question mark gets you off the hook. Reported.

EDDIE51 / -Talbot-

Where are you getting the Antifa references from?

From EDDIE (you have read the thread haven't you?)
Why report it are you no longer a mod, Gromit?

I haven't typed anything about sp that isn't true.
The antifa link to this shooting isn’t true, it is fake.

// For anyone monitoring America’s far-right, it was only a matter of time before Devin Patrick Kelley, the man identified as the Sutherland Springs, Texas, shooter, became “antifa.”
...Cernovich pushed the same idea further Sunday evening, citing only “photos.” “Photos of Texas shooter is consistent with profile of Antifa member,” Cernovich posted. “This is looking more and more like Antifa terror.” //

http://www.newsweek.com/sutherland-springs-shooter-devin-patrick-kelley-was-antifa-according-far-right-702338

Some crackpot decides the shooter looks like an antifa member, and that is enough evidence to spin a lie.
Nothing will ever be done about gun control in America. They could have a massacre like this every week and it wouldn't make any difference.

The most that would happen would be a couple of extra background checks here and there, but the fundamental issue would remain.
I heard on the news he was ex-military, dishonourably discharged from the USAF in 2014. Undoubtedly embittered and twisted. Is that not now true?
EDDIE51

You posted a cut and paste which claimed:

//The shooter is Devin Kelley, a white athiest male from New Braunfels, Texas. As it turns out, he was a far left Antifa member ( or sympathiser ) and had discussed shooting up white conservative churches.//

Where did that come from?

-Talbot- I directed the question to you as well as EDDIE51 because I don’t understand where the Antifa reference comes from. Did you check out EDDIE51’s link? I only got a Google login page.
I didnt check out EDDIE,s link.
Im on a phone and won't be checking anything out until I get to my laptop.

Unusual for EDDIE to be posting nonsense though.
// ...he was court-martialled in 2012 for “assault on his spouse and child” and spent a year in a military prison and was given a reduction in rank. In 2014, Kelley received a bad conduct discharge, she added. //

// US federal law bans people who have been dishonourably discharged from buying a firearm. //
EDDIE why bring frightened animals and fireworks into this thread ???
The link was an answer on the US site Quora. I DO NOT agree with it!!!
I THINK IT IS RUBBISH OF THE HIGHEST ORDER.
I posted it because it was an example of how ludicrous some responses by US respondents are to mass shootings.
Looking like a domestic violence problem

Wonder what Chump's take on it will be?
Well that's alright then!
http://edition.cnn.com/2017/11/05/politics/trump-texas-shooting-act-evil/index.html
''Nothing to do with Gun laws'' !!!!
At last a sensible (but useless) answer to 'what can we do about mass shootings?''
ence in the United States?

I think what we’re seeing is a byproduct of how we have gotten so antisocial in society. We no longer connect with each other like we once did. We’re all on social media. We’re connecting with strangers. We are shunning our family and friends. We’re also not disciplining our kids and giving them the tools they need to survive in society. Life can be rough. If you don’t have the tools to cope, it can be easy to snap.

We need to disconnect. Go offline. Connect with the people around us. Form the bonds we need to get through this life.

Just my opinion.

Many things have been tried, none successful. When the United States Supreme Court ruled that the 2nd Amendment provides a personal right to individuals, the path to viable gun control legislation was essentially obliterated.

The only viable option now for implementing rational gun control legislation that can survive a Constitutional challenge, is to repeal and replace the 2nd Amendment.

The time has come for this to finally happen. A 2nd Amendment that can protect the rights of lawful and responsible gun owners and co-exist with one that allows regulation of this most dangerous product. It is shameful how many people have died while our government has wrestled with the debate over rational regulation vs. NRA money. Shame, shame on Congress.
