For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I am sure my teachers through the years, particularly the nuns, would not be considered PC these days..did it have any bearing on my education..NO... if anything it prepared me for the unjustices and unfairness in life..... what happens in the classroom should stay in the clasroom and the namby pamby okya folks should find better things to campaign about... life is unfair and cruel at times.... better to learn early on than to wear rose couloured specs !

Whilst it is the job of teachers to train children for adult like, it's not the job of teachers to pick on pupils.
It's not the job of teachers to actively make children feel bad about themselves. Teachers should (and by and large, do) encourage children to be the best people they can.
This story stinks to high heaven, and kvalidir has outlined what I think is really the issue here.
This does not appear to be an isolated incident:
I had always tried to respect the pupil and keep a professional attitude as well as my integrity, but it seemed to me that the school was trying to force me to adhere to its liberal, Leftish agenda.
Red flag.
