Yes, well done all.
I think that, as a country, we do Remembrance rather well. Our little church pulled all the stops out. Ex-servicemen laid the wreath; children took the collection; the singers(me included) gave of their best; we had Bible readings as well as the diaries of a WW1 nurse and poetry by Sassoon. Every respect possible was offered. We also celebrated the era of hope for the future that their sacrifice had made possible.
Comments afterwards were warm and from the heart.
