Have you ever supported the UK on any subject? Have you always sided with the opposition on every little detail? Have you always spun our wins as losses and our losses as catastrophies?

gromit

you do have something of a downer on the UK, i wonder why...
Sounds like a personal attack by TTT!
Emmie - that is uncalled for! You could say the same for me then!
just saying, his posts very rarely if ever have anything good to say about the UK>
Well he's hardly going to rush onto the Answerbank and type up questions over things he thinks are fine, is he?
Well to be honest most of the post that seem pro UK are anti Race, Gay and religion!!
I know who I would rather be with!!
Emmie,
The UK is the best country in the world, always thought so, always said it.
Unfortunately we are ruled by twits (Labour and Conservatives) who do us a disservice.
You mistake croticising our leaders, and the things they do for criticism of the country. They are entirely different. I am not going to support Mrs May because she is the British Prime Minister, if she is plainly rubbish.
Islay
i don;t believe that to be true.
Well emmie any more than I believe the accusation that you laid at Gromits door!
TTT.......why do you describe anyone that doesn't agree with you, especially when it comes to the EU and Brexit, as "siding with the opposition"

In addition, you describe anybody that voted Remain as some kind of "anti-British" or even worse "Vichy British"
I've had people say the same thing about me, but I love England, more than anyone can ever realise, however there are times when I despair of the government and of the way some elements of UK society seem hell bent on living in some sort of rose tinted empire years delusional Elysium where we are a mighty power vanquishing 'johnny foreigner' and imposing our will on the rest of the world, when actually what we should imho be aiming for is a more open, fair and inclusive society where borders are taken down not put up. Because I disagree with Brexit etc does not mean that I 'hate' my country, it means I love my country but disagree what is best for it as a whole. I imagine the same is true of Gromit etc
Its not just TTT though Mikey
I agree Islay, but this is TTTs daft thread.

He is always using insulting language when it comes to us that voted to remain. .......all 16,141,241 of us.

Even 16,141,241 can get it wrong sometimes.
TTT, appears not to be a happy chappie today, ( I wonder why) for some reason he has decided to abuse gromit. Hey ho :-)
The anger and bitterness displayed both here and elsewhere is a result of the incessant blundering around in a fog.
People were misled and expected things to move and all they have is inertia, this breeds frustration.

We will never all agree but it's easier to pick someone to blame from the other team than kick your Captain in the shins.
The voting in the Referendum was as follows :::::

LEAVE ::::::17,410,742

REMAIN::::16,141,241

On a good, 72.2% turn-out.

I am not arguing about the result, and I accept it, but what would the situation have been, if the figures were reversed ?

Would the Remainers have just wandered off to lick their wounds, never to be heard of again ?
and to think , we have got a lot of years of this still to go

Gawd help us

oh no no no - see , it's affecting me as well now
we would have had to accept it, what else could one do.
you mean the Brexiteers surely
