I have said before, but it bears repeating -
Part of the wonderful pleasure of university life is that you get to live a life where all the essentials are taken care of for you.
This leaves your considerable entertainment huge amounts of time to range over thoughts that no sane person with a job and a mortgage and family would devote a nanosecond's thought to - because it is such a serious waste of time and effort.
The more time you have, the more ludicrous and pointless your thoughts can become, and the more valuable time you can devote to them.
If you extrapolate that to the maximum - you have some of the country's most intelligent people devoting the most time to the most crass, ludicrous and utterly pointless garbage it is possible for the human mind to fantasise about.
And this is the end result.
So the short answer to the question, is 'No'.
