It's actually 7.88 seconds.

I timed it.

The thing that makes it really funny, is that it's so close to that episode of 'The Thick of It' with the blinker being interviewed by Jeremy Paxman.

If you've not seen it, it's excruciating...but at least it's just a sitcom.
