I can't repeat his comments here on AB, but they are all there for people to read. Not made in private but in the Oval Office, in front of other people.

Is this really the kind of language that we would expect the POTUS to be using ?

It is quite possible to be a billionaire and a moron, DD. Especially when the core of one's wealth is inherited. He really needs to remember that his own mother was an immigrant and that she married into money otherwise things could have been so different for him!
I expect similar has been used by previous Presidents... but these days everything is reported...
"Certain Washington politicians choose to fight for foreign countries, but President Trump will always fight for the American people," a statement from White House spokesman Raj Shah said''

errr, does that mean he'll fight for the Native American too?

And quite rightly so Minty....if one of the most important and high-profile of world leaders is using such foul and childish language, then I think we should know about it.

The man is a moron.

Alba....he might do, as some of the tribes are now very wealthy due to income from gambling, and we know how Trump likes to look after wealthy people.
Lol quite ironic really that native americans can have casino's and gambling licence and he can't!
His hotel in Vegas is one of the few with no gambling licence hence its set back off the main strip.
Last time I was there I was talking to a concierge that worked for him and he said he left to work at the Flamingo because of practices towards ethnic staff in Trump's hotel. Unfortunately he would not go into details!
JFK was no angel either !
Am very glad he can't have a licence Islay :-D
You've brought back a vague memory from the programme aired a few months ago where that was mentioned.

Wonder if anyone would remind him his own mother is an immigrant. Seems to have a selective memory doesn't he?
But we are not discussing JFK are we Minty?
Whilst hardly diplomatic it's not something I find myself too hot under the collar about. Actions speak louder than words. More important is what he does not how emotional he gets in front of others, even if one is disappointed at apparent lack of control at presidential level.

OG....there is nothing remotely "apparent" about his use of language. It is calculated to appeal to his supporters. He does it all the time. Recently he said that all Haitians have AIDs.
actually hear worse in playgrounds..and only words.. let him be judged by performance and results..not words.. as for morals..Clinton...?? personal traits apply to all former POTUS in one way or another... imagine the rumpus if JFK and all his skeletons had been in the public arena ? not really so different..
"Why are we having all these people from s.h.1.thole countries come here?"

Seems a fair question to me.

The billionaire business man Trump and now most powerful leader of the most powerful country in the world very well may be a lot of things, but a moron he most certainly isn't.

Playgrounds are exactly the sort of places where I would expect to hear this sort of language, along with a lot of other scatological talk but not in the Oval Office.
To be honest, there are *** countries, and you can’t blame people for wanting to leave them.
But that does not mean other countries are obliged to take them.
Problem is, it is well documented that Trump employs cheap foreigners in his hotel businesses. So it is a bit rich him asking why they come to the United States, when he is giving them jobs.
nothing new Mikey !

Perhaps Minty....now I must be away with that ice axe !

No, this kind of uneducated language is not the kind we should expect from the President. But it is exactly the kind of language we can now expect from the deranged and unstable conman who currently occupies the post. I recently lost a bet that he would be gone by now, so I won't venture predictions again, but for the good of the world I hope he is ousted under the 25th Amendment as soon as possible.

He is merely pointing out that a number of previous US Presidents had major issues.

While Trump is bad people seem to think he is the only US President that has done bad things.

Look at Clinton with his womanizing in the White House.

Nixon with his criminal activities with Watergate and similar things. Some of his senior aides were nothing more than criminals and burglers.

JFK was a well known womanizer.

I guess the main difference is that Trump announces his ignorance using things like Twitter whereas the other presidents tended to try to keep to keep their "problems" quiet.

I wonder if the Twitter company pay Trump to keep using it as he has certainly given them a lot of publicity over the last few years.
