Would or does the new law allow refusal to treat any medical need of say a transgender person or just refusal to treat something specifically in relation to transgender? Such as cutting bits off.
Say they went in having been shot in the leg. Would they be allowed to refuse to treat them?
I have no time for religion but tbh if you are going into health care as a profession then unless you specialise and would never come across any situation that your religious or moral stance dictates, you sign up to it all not just the bits you want.
Thank goodness it isn't Al Salvador. You get put in prison for up to 50 years if you have a miscarriage.

It happens in this country – see my link at 22:29 Thu. Regardless of patient safety our NHS has even made concessions to hygiene rules but only to accommodate those who feel that their religious foibles preclude them from adhering to the rules that apply to everyone else.
