Well...I'll have to disagree with you, spath...
I, with the rest of our very limited staff, are on the cliff face.
Every £10 that goes to us goes further than if it's given to someone who will most likely spend on anything that's bad for them.
Maybe come join us...

^sorry that was for Spathi.^
There was a radio programme the other day about fake uni Degrees.
Their biggest customer....charity workers.
Seems to attract a lot of conpeople.
Penny Lawrence has fallen on her sword ( deputy CEO ) after a lunch widda minister

I er wonder who paid for the lunch .....

imagine - a splurge a blood from dead Penny's mouth as she whispers - apply to St Peter for any tip.....
anda minister pulls the short sword from Penny's chest and snarls - and who's next ?
Mandarins and waiters and not a few cabinet ministers run towards the open windows squealing....
The minista in pursuit snarling " let's see how you squeal on the way down!" tossing a few out as she speaks
I give to the local hospice, the local children's hospice, Medicins Sans Frontiers,an small orphanage that one of my Mum's ex's is heavily involved with in Africa that has a lot of Aids babies and children, anything that I see that appears worthy as I go about my day to day life, so that might be an individual beggar in the street or someone crowdfunding and anything which I think will be really life changing that needs help getting off the ground ( like the wheelable water purifiers a few years ago). I WON't give to Oxfam (before this), the RSPCA especially, Red Cross ( for personal reasons) or most of the 'High Street Massive'. I do wherever possible support ALL charities with custom in their shops both personal and business. What now for Oxfam? I think they will take some recovering from this tbh given the current climate.
Like kval, I give to local charities or ones where I know beyond doubt where the money is going and who is involved. Have not given to Oxfam for can't remember.... 30 years? R,.S.P.C.A. is another no-no. No charity where organisers make money more-or-less sums it up.
The way that Oxfam handled this (internal investigation, those identified allowed to leave, sacked, or reassigned) sounds familiar.

It's the same process used by the Catholic Church when they identified paedophile priests.

It's a stain that remains to this day.
Not just sexual crimes but they have been involved in politics, a definite No, No. They were supporting very left wing Momentum style politics
