seems the role isn't hereditary and Charles isn't the natural successor. the Commonwealth Heads of Government are said to favour a more "democratic" appointment. so who would get your vote - Tony Blair maybe? or Jacob Zuma? (I understand he's looking for a new job) or even Robert Mugabe?

I'm sure His Tonyness has his eye on it.

Cant blame them for not wanting ol' jug-ears though. Mad as a box of frogs.
Tony Blair? Jacob Zuma? Robert Mugabe?

Are you implying the Queen is head of a corrupt organisation?
What exactly has the Coomonwealth of Nations done to upset you?
I don't find this surprising and I am sure that the Queen and Prince Charles don't either.
yeah I thought it was a suicide plan for the commonwealth

suppose they say - yeah as head of the commonwealth, you have to lead in charitable giving - you know like supporting the maisons d'occasion in Haiti - who would step forward ?
// Are you implying the Queen is head of a corrupt organisation? //

your 'corrupt' is wandering: surely you mean:
Are you implying the Queen is a corrupt head of an organisation?

Jacob Zuma? (I understand he's looking for a new job)
well the problem is that he says he is very satisfied where he is thank you

Hey has anyone noticed - the ANC doesnt have the power to fire ( or recall ) a president ?

Maybe the head of the organisation could be chosen from a net contributor rather than a pat on the back for someone who's amassed a fortune on the backs of their cowed population and is ready to bolt with the loot at the drop of a feathered hat.
