Here's another example of what a wassock Trump is....he used to be against the ownership of assault weapons, but now he advocates the carrying of weapons into night clubs by everybody. Hundreds of people have been injured or killed recently in America, but he still wants to hang on to that lovely dosh that the NRA gives him and other Republicans, rather than actually do something useful.

Let ABs Trumpettes defend him now.

Do you acknowledge that this BBC article is a propaganda pastiche constructed by people similar to, but brighter than yourself, Mikey?
LOL, v-e!
Reducing the number of lethal weapons available to mass murderers is a good idea, yes? I've got that. (Vegas, the church and now this.)

Reducing the number of people entering the country who might be inclined to be mass murderers is probably a good idea too, isn't it? San Bernadino, Orlando? Similar point, isn't it? You do get it, don't you?

PS: did you enjoy the Met Wagner?
Strange, the grieving mothers of the latest victims are being invited to comment on the political issue of gun control.

I can't remember the mothers of the dead gays killed at Orlando being invited to comment on a travel ban.
The students are starting to protest. They're the voters of the future so all politicians must beware.

VE...I am not aware of Nikolas Cruz being an alien ?
I don't think you're quite following the point, Mikey.

Did you enjoy Parsifal?

VE...there is already a thread running over on "Radio"
...not really why I asked the question.

What a shame you can't be more generous in your assessment of people who disagree with you, Mikey.
Mikey, an answer to v_e's question at 03:08 Sun would be welcome.
It is as well to remember that Trump's brother ( I think it is his brother)is spokesman for the NRA . They did not select him for the role by chance.
Trump say the same as he always says '' The answer to gun crime is more guns, bad guys with guns must be outnumbered by good guys with guns'' A large proportion of Trump's election funding came from the NRA and associated organisations. Clinton was viewed as being more in favour of gun control so they did not want her as President.
Over on Quora I am regularly asked questions like ''How can you defend yourself against a home invasion without firearms?'' They just can't understand that in the UK we just do not have a 'gun culture' and most of us like me, never see a gun, apart from the rare occasions we see an armed police officer.

Just can't bring yourself to criticise Trump can you Naomi !

Do you think its a good idea for everybody in a crowded nightclub to be armed with a gun strapped to the waist or ankle, just in case there might be a murderer in there as well ?
Question Author
Eddie....common sense !

Trumps way of dealing with future gun outrages, is to allow everybody to wear guns....you couldn't make it up Eddie !
Donald Trump is proud to be endorsed by the NRA - his stance on guns is well known.

He believes his position is defensible, not to say popular with his voters, so in that he is a typical politician.

I think his argument is fundamentally flawed, but he will never change it.
I thought Naomi was becoming somewhat less enthusiastic in her admiration for Trump, but possibly I am wrong.
Please, will everyone keep quiet while mickey tells us exactly what Donald Trump should do to end gun crime in the USA.
Mikey, the floor is yours!
Question Author
Eddie....no sign of that as far as I can see !
Mikey, I’ll criticise him when criticism is due, but the material in your link has, as v_e says, been created as a propaganda pastiche, something you refuse to acknowledge. And for the record, no, I don't think it's a good idea for everybody in a crowded nightclub to be armed with a gun strapped to the waist or ankle.

Khandro....he could start by drawing up legislation that makes ownership of military assault weapons illegal. He won't do that of course, but that is what he should be doing.

The Second Amendment makes no mention of high-powered assault weapons. In the days when it was written, a gun meant a muzzle-loading flintlock. If Cruz had been using one of those, he wouldn't have been able to kill 17 people.

There is no case to be made for such military weapons being in civilian hands....the only reason that they are, is that the gun industry make eye-wateringly large amounts of money from their manufacture and sale.

Mikey, Trump will never change, he only says what his supporters want to hear.
For example on the Mexico wall. Despite indisputable evidence that the overwhelming proportion of 'illegal immigrants' actually enter the USA legally on visitor , travel or other visas, but fail to return home, he still insists his wall will stop them .
The truth is it will just be an expensive obstacle to the legitimate & lucrative travel / trade between Mexico and the USA .
