It's possible to be *too* obsessed with finding an explanation that fits the facts, joining up dots that don't belong together and seeing patterns in the chaos. No doubt some conspiracy theories make for lovely, and intricate, stories, but in the end most are utter garbage and the rest are complete garbage.
