We'll just have to use breach of the peace laws instead of the discredited, cobbled together 'must be seen to be doing something' legislation.

Spitting at teenagers remains an offence though.

There was a law against bigotry ? Just about everyone involved in debate in argument could be accused then. One individual's meat is another's poison.

It was an ill thought out law that was also badly worded and probably unenforceable in reality.

Plod have enough laws to deal with this sort of thing so it seems a good idea to back this one out.
