I saw that bit of the programme. In my view no one was saying the attack was staged to prevent Brexit but the fact it happened was being used as a smokescreen. I wasn't 100% sure how this could be so but I thought Cox's uncontrolled outburst, suggesting the victims shoukd be asked if it was a smokescreen, was beyond contempt. At that point I decided the programme didn't deserve being watched by anyone and turned over to Family Guy.
