Why ask me? Write to the Prime Minister and ask her.
I think you’ve rather proved my point. Next!
You haven't made a point - unless it's that in your estimation other people are hypocrites.
Zacs; //Not within the remit of the hoi polloi.//
Before I attempt to answer your question , let me start with some grammar; hoi polloi, is Greek for "the many" so it doesn't require a definite article - what you're saying is "the the many". :0)

Pedantry over, what has to be done is find out who is responsible for the radicalisation, be it dodgy imams or internet sites, and punish them by closing them down - both mosques and sites.
I’ve made the point that, despite your clamouring for something to be done you’ve no idea what that is. When we get down to brass tacks and I challenge you to explain why things aren’t being done, you ask me to write to the PM!

You’re now being hippocritical about your hipocrisy.
‘punish them by closing them down - both mosques and sites‘

Describe for me the processes of that and the resultant punishment, please.
Oh, and the consequences.
Khandro, I'm aware of that but 'the hoi polloi' is in common usage in our language so stop trying to be a smart ass.
zacs, //I’ve made the point that, despite your clamouring for something to be done you’ve no idea what that is. //

I don't believe I've 'clamoured' - and I haven't asked you to write to the PM. I've suggested that if you want answers that I, not being privy to government thinking on this, can't provide, you write to someone who is more able to help you.
Again, I think you’ve proved my point.
‘And I haven’t asked you to write to the PM’

09:07 ‘Write to the Prime Minister and ask her’

Losing the plot again are we?

I think 'hoi polloi' is accepted as a compound noun, so 'the hoi polloi' is normal parlance.
Zacs, Again I say you haven't made a point. You've asked me why things aren't being done. I don't know so I can only suggest (as I did – no question, Zacs, so if there’s a plot lost it’s not from here), you ask someone who does.
Again, you’ve proved my point ie the hipocrisy of those who scream for something to be done, but have no idea.

Anything to say on your blatant lie that you didn’t ask me to write to the PM, when it’s there for all to see?
Zacs, you’re coming across as rather illogical, not to mention somewhat hysterical. You’ve asked what people might want done – I’ve made a few suggestions – so yes, they do have some idea. They can’t, however, implement their ideas since they don’t have the power to do so. How difficult is that to understand?

As for lying, I don’t lie. I didn’t ‘ask’ you to write to the PM – I ‘told’ you to write to the PM. No question there.

Go and have a cup of tea and a rest and get your head together for goodness sake. You’re making a twit of yourself.
‘They can’t, however, implement their ideas since they don’t have the power to do so. How difficult is that to understand?‘

Yeah, I get all that. I then tried to move things on by asking you why you thought they weren’t being implemented and you ‘told’ me to write to the PM, which rather proves my point about the hippo risk of those shouting for something to be done.

BTW, I’m perfectly calm and, whatsmore, rational. Which is something lacking in your obtuse posts which seem to fail to grasp my point.
Hippo risk. Ha. Hypocrisy.
Zacs, Keep digging if you like. The final paragraph of my post at 09:43 stands.
Zacs-Master
I see this was yet another ‘something must be done’ thread

Was it?
