An amazing piece of artwork.
Its art and generally one makes of art whatever one wants.
But we live in a permanently offended society these days.
Wholly anti-semitic and appalling.
Not anti-Semitic. Just symbolic.
Let's be honest, if someone has an agenda about which to be offended then they can find offence in anything.
My mother is Jewish, neither of us are of the opinion it's anti-semitic, it's simply making a statement ( as art should) some of which include people who happen to be Jewish. Rather like if you included the Pope and the might of the Catholic Church it would not necessarily be anti Catholic, it might merely be making a statement about certain elements or aspects which warranted it's inclusion. I'm very sorry it's been removed because some people can't deal with being offended.
The anti-propaganda machine under the 1930's Hitler regime began with mild anti-Jewish cartoons and innuendo, and we all know what that led to. The rhetoric that the Jews were responsible for the First World War, because their Capitalist bankers profited from it - despite the fact that the Jews also, according to the Nazis were behind the spread of anti-Capitalist Communism- was a widespread polemic in newspapers, billboards and other media. The mural has all the symbols of anti-Semitism.
Correction: I meant to write the "Anti-Jewish propaganda machine".
Lots of Labour MP's seem to think it was antisemitic

I'm struggling to find Corbyn's apology that Watson and Starmer are talking about.
Question Author
Is there a term for people who look at a symbolic picture and see Jews everywhere even when the majority of the symbolic characters are non-Jewish?

Anti-semiotic perhaps?
When did he make this apology?
The statement, which was released on Sunday evening, said:

Odd...
I personally cannot see The Illuminati in the dark.
To me it just shows six Jewish men playing Monopoly on the backs of poorer human beings.. There are several very rich Jews holding the monopoly in lots of institutions . Whether it is anti or pro Semitic I wouldn't really know.
Anti Semitic ? Naw
Art? Aye... braw
Well, Corbyn himself seems to think it's anti-semitic, but claims he didn't really notice at the time. Strange.
