Mr Corbyn has got an interesting juggling act coming up - how can labour not be anti semitic whilst still being seen to be bestest buddies with Hamas?

Street politics is his politics, and Parliament Square protests are in his lifeblood. Tonight, however, when the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Jewish Leadership Council rally outside Westminster at 5.30pm, the Labour leader is unlikely to attend. Ahead of the 6pm weekly meeting of the Parliamentary Labour Party (PLP), the Jewish community protestors will deliver a withering joint letter accusing Corbyn of “again and again, siding with anti-semites”.

If you’re going to tell a lie, make it a Big One (Goebbels, wasn’t it?)
So now the right-wing scum, some of whom wash up here pretty often, are jumping on the bandwagon of slandering Jeremy Corbyn, in a futile attempt to discredit him.
Won’t wash, white van men and women, The British are far too bright to fall for that bunch of tripe again!
Go snuffle in some other trough.

bainbrig, if the deputies' letter is "one big lie", i'm curious to understand why Mr Corbyn has felt the need to apologise in response, rather than to repudiate the points raised by the deputies.

//The WHOLE of this attack on labour is One Big Lie,//
if that's true, then Mr Corbyn has no need to apologise for anything. and yet that's just what he has done. I can't fathom that at all, bainbrig. could you explain please?
and try to do so without resorting to calling other users on this forum "scum", please - that's breaking the Site Rules, don'tcha know.

bainbrig, the perception that Jeremy Corbyn is racist isn't against Site Rules but I believe calling people idiots might be.
