More chemical attacks that Russia knows nothing about and had nothing to do with. It must be another one of those things the government has dreamed up to distract us all from Brexit. What do you reckon?
sorry, naomi, wrong digit in the year. Same lucky mother. The British were in charge of the harbour.
I'm not questioning the nobility or otherwise of poison gas, just pointing out that countries who cover up its effects when things go wrong can hardly expect other countries to admit to using it.

Meehh. Perhaps the "rebels" have been manufacturing and stockpiling it just in case........and Putin's bombers or artillery blew some up. Double Meehh.
jno, well, no you weren't 'just pointing' anything out really were you. You gave an entirely false impression that Britain was wholly responsible. It must be truly awful for you to have to live in a country you hate so much.
We're all agreed then, Assad has pulled defeat from the jaws of victory......again.
This story has been circulating for 36 hours (or about a week if you listened to the warnings this was coming)
I presumed no one bothered posting it because nobody 'buys' these ridiculous stories anymore.
Shame the thread has bee derailed over yet another of someones opportunist anti British comments.
Looking at the video evidence it would appear that chemical weapons were used by someone. Can we (the West) not analyse it to see where it most likely came from?
I'm struggling to see where Assad has managed to come off worse here. Some assume, despite consistent evidence to the contrary, that he has some sort of moral compass that equates to ours. But it doesn't work like that. Maybe he/Russia was emboldened by President Trump's statement last week that he was about to wash his hands of Syria. However, it may be, however bizarre, that some good may come of Trump's obsession with outdoing Obama. It'll need something more than a volley of cruise missiles though. What is heartening at least is that the world is slowly seeing who the real villains here are.

Yep, we can do pretty well, as we did the last time. Assuming they won't allow independent experts in. Only the gullible at any rate, will take the denials as anything other than shameful lies. After the last major attack there followed a series of counter-arguments from Syria and her ally that were almost comical in their implausibility.
If it is any consolation, the Russian secret police are liable to execute the "forces" who launched the mustard gas to shut them up. Just like these murderers were liquidated.
Talking of chemical attacks.......funny how the same "suspects" keep cropping up. Syria and Russia again in cahoots. Guess who has the hand up the glove puppet.
^^^Funny how the witnesses to, or the accused by Putin, all meet untimely ends. Best keep pushing the regime agenda then.........You never know, when you are no longer "useful" to the online policy you could be next. !^_^!
Tonight at the UN, after maybe one bottle of vodka only this time who knows, Lewis Carroll's No 1 fan Mr Vassiliy "Wonderland" Nebenzya (Russia's UN ambassador), managed to assert both that there had been no chemical weapons attack on Douma, and also that there HAD been an attack, but it was a false flag. AND, that he didn't know what had happened and that there should be an enquiry.
Before dashing off after the White Rabbit.
