Yaxley/Lennon/Robinson has only himself to blame for his current period of chokey.....
Will he be a little wiser after his release? The odds aren't great but let's hope so.
/// Over and above what wasn't discussed on the threads that were pulled from AB over the
weekend. ///
Nothing in particular, I was just asking if the story is now free to be discussed, there are some that were not aware of any of the threads over the bank holiday weekend, so it is only fair that they can now enter their own particular tuppence worth.
I would have thought that since the ABSpareEditor had sounded the alarm, she would have been first to sound the all clear.
/// If there are reporting restrictions on an ongoing court case, you cannot take it upon yourself to talk about it on the Internet. ///
I at no time said one could, you are not telling me anything that I do not already know.
The question that I asked was addressed to ABSpareEditor, asking her if that was the case she was referring to, and now announcing that if it was, the restrictions has now been lifted.
What is there to discuss? As has been said many times, he was already serving a suspended sentence after a previous conviction for the same offence. Then he intentionally and openly goes and does the same yet again. I also can only assume he wants to go back to jail. That is what happens if you commit another similar offence while serving a suspended sentence. The suspended sentence is reactivated. The real problem is, what would have been the reaction if he hadn't been recalled to jail!
/// However, as I mentioned before - it had been discussed to death on the removed thread. ///
As already been mentioned there are some who didn't even know what all this was about, so please give them a chance to discuss matters if they so wish.
/// Not sure what else is left to talk about now. ///
Well don't bother joining in then, no one is forcing you.
Goodness me, AOG, do you imagine you are some sort of Truth-warrior?
This was discussed, at length, on several threads over the weekend and the way you have worded your question (yet again) doesn't allow for much sensible expansion on that....
Contempt of Court in these circumstances is always dealt with swiftly. It has to be. The Criminal Procedure Rules enable these to be heard by the trial judge summarily. He did have the opportunity to have a full hearing but he pleaded guilty.
The police lied to TR lawyer ....why?
If it wasn't for a quick-thinking Twitter user who had a check on who was appearing in court TR would have been jailed and nobody would have been any the wiser as to his whereabouts.
I'm really not sure how people are comfortable with that.
