If you knew the person who pushed the cyclist in the video, do you think that you would report them to the police? I think that this is assault, and may even be verging on GBH, depending how injured the cyclist was. What if he got badly injured, and could not find help?
I do not know the person but if I did then I certainly would report them to the police. Cyclists have just as much right to the road as we do. Even if the cyclist did cut the car up, then this retaliation is over the top and is concerning.
No, he was on the road where he legally should be. There was a grass verge that he got pushed onto which took him over his handle bars, going head first into a forest. Luckily he had all the cyclist gear, helmet included.
I guess it could have been staged. But as you say, if it was not then the cyclist should have reported the offence to the police. At least the video evidence has gone viral in case he needed some proof.
Nasty. (But if folk weren't allowed on the roads on their suicide machines then idiots couldn't try to make it happen for them.) Yes they should be found; cyclist today, pedestrian on the pavement tomorrow.
I would certainly report if I knew who the assailant was and if Spath and I ever meet he will receive a sharp slap around the ear for finding it hilarious....x
Tell you what I've found over the last few days.....the way the Swiss motorists behave towards cyclists.....so polite and considerate......everyone just seems to share the road.....motorists don't think it is theirs and theirs alone to behave as they wish......bliss.... :-)
