Yes, Nails it made me feel really ashamed of my beloved home town.

I just hope that one day they will need a fully equipped ambulance and will appreciate what that actually means.

my first recollection of it is as a student in 1973....

Nurses ppurses - parents mobiles - erm stolen by another parent hem hem, childrens xmas presents
and.... 1978 - the lead acid battery from a crash cart

( thief's car battery probably flat in the car park)

Karma sometimes has a way of paying people back. I'd guess the thieves are youngsters who have set themselves on a path that will see them in and out of prison for much of their lives.
