I was first referring to murder victims and then ummmm moved the goal posts to that of none life threatening knife victims.

So I didnt say ALL young people and I also limited it to criminal intent. So unless your kids are criminals then it doesnt apply.

As for the authority comment, I stand by that, including my own kids. I do concede though much of that is down to peer pressure and right-on liberalism giving kids 'rights', not just parents.

I don't think there is a breakdown in society. And i think his message that the police (and those in the emergency front line i might add) are unfunded and perhaps therefore undervalued by their own government.
