Sure - but these aren’t the actions of your average trans person in the same way that women can and do get raped by men, but men should not be defined by that.

There are those who are adamant that men and women who undergo gender reassignment operations are merely pretending to be the opposite sex. I’ll go with the doctors who have studied in the field - they seem to know what they’re talking about.

The police could issue a release for ‘a nasty looking bloke’ and all the culprit would have to do is alter his or her appearance, you know like just about everyone else would.

I’m sure you’ve see films where an APB is put out and the culprit dons a wig or shades?

If the police were looking for (say) and IC1 Male, they would issue a release saying so.

If the suspect turned out to be trans (edge case), then the police would be doing themselves a disservice, because the public would be keeping a eye out for a Male, as opposed to a trans woman.
