Pret a Manger taking action as to allergen displays, ok....needed.

British Airways in deep stuck for not telling the doctor attending the girl that they had a defibrillator and other equipment on board - as they were on the descent....appalling

But, surely, the parents are also partly to blame...her father was with her. If my daughter was highly allergic to nuts, I wouldn't have sent her to the airport without giving her a couple of safe sarnies or whatever..... They have to take some of the blame but, IMO, they are too liberal with their swingeing comments, presumably for compensation.

Views, no doubt very mixed, I bet.....?

OK if you say so - I don't really have the energy to respond in detail to your warped reasoning!
"The tendency to develop allergies is often hereditary, which means it can be passed down through genes from parents to their kids"

I have a life threatening allergy to penicillin Ummm came on just last year.
you're thinking with too much emotion RR. Fact is, we'd be best off without allergies, natural selection proves people with allergies die in situations like these.
None of my parents are allergic to anything.
OK Spath.
Firstly I think a huge brunt of the blame does rest with the parents, no way would I give my child something pre-packed like that if I knew of their severe allergies, furthermore everyone I've spoken to in the real world is of the same view.
The huge increase in people with severe allergies must be caused by something we've done that's for sure.
Spath to deliver the eulogy.
So was my uncle RR.
Prudie, //The huge increase in people with severe allergies must be caused by something we've done that's for sure.//

I think you're probably right. Chemicals, plastics, pollution - who knows?
BPA and over population along with the trend for racism, meaning people 'mate' close to home.. We know what that does.
I don't blame the parents. Something like sesame seeds should have been listed. It's a known allergen.
spath, good grief! Where on earth do you get your ideas from? No ... don't tell me.
///I'm allergic to bees///

They dinae taste all that gid anyways
Lol any evidence to that facts Spath?
Considering my allergies and the fact that my parents were from different countries when the 'mated'.
I seriously fear they come out of his own head, Naomi. Possibly one of THE most stupid things I've ever seen anyone write on here.

No wait, anywhere.
Ahhh it's OK.. i just think ya'll have too much emotion when it comes to discussion.
better too much emotion than not enough brains!
Of course, one of the advantages of being emotionally connected to a discussion is that you might actually think about what you say for once.
'Something like sesame seeds should have been listed'

Bit that's just it.....they didn't have to be, as i understand it.
