he was told to stay in his car by a junior officer.... so he was just obeying orders !...hmm where have i heard that before ?

as others have said hes a coward, plain and simple.
what any of us would have done is irelevant, his job in theory is clearly stated in the above quote, he was in a car with others and they did buger all to lift a finger to help one of his own..any of them could have ignored the instruction to stay in the car and done something and as stated even used the car as a means to an end..

I think his not getting out to help was cowardly, I'm not a big hefty heroic guy either but he is paid to wear that uniform to protect, the person, probably a dispatcher told him to stay in the car, how many times has he ignored orders from over the radio we'll not know but how he could sit there and watch an act of terror unfold without helping is cowardly, he wasn't just a guy on the street, he was an officer in his car, he should be sacked without a big fat pension. I'm sure many posting here will have divided opinions but nothing will change my mind that this was cowardly

I once intervened and took a knife off a man who was threatening a woman with it. Never did I consider myself to be brave nor unarmed, just bloody furious. I am female and I never undertook to protect a human's life. At the time I acted on instinct as I believe and hope others would.

Well Spicerack I suppose 1 out of 3 ain't bad. I may be female but I'm not wee and I'm certainly not timid. Have travelled the world and seen sights that would probably turn your stomach.
