It's one or tuther. //
I would ask why - but then it starts to look like a to-and-fro spat between us, and it would be a shame to see this record-breaking thread derailed or deleted, so let's return to the subject under discussion shall we.

In other words - anyone, except attention-seeking muppet 'Tommy Robinson' and his feeble minded self-righteous useless rabble of followers.
Having being referred to as above by the great all knowing AH, and his feeble attempt at distancing him from this remark there is nothing else to say.
I think an apology would be in order from AH for calling me a feeble minded member of a useless self righteous rabble.
I thought insults were against Site Rules, it seems the high and mighty AH is immune from the rules.

When I was typing that post, I had an image in my mind of the EDL goons who follow 'Tommy' on his ego-trips, I was not specifically aiming my derision at you personally.
If that appeared to be the case, it was genuinely not intended, and I am happy to offer an immediate and sincere apology to you, and anyone else, offended by my careless writing on this occasion.

Reluctantly accepted, but, you should be more careful in future. It is not right to blanket insult those with opposing views and opinions. You have often stated that you enjoy a lively debate.
A debate will quickly turn sour and nasty when personal insults are bandied around.
Giving your background I find it hard to believe that you are capable of careless writing.
Enough said, I like TR, he does stand against what is a problem in this country. Remember the child grooming cases which was publicised in a TV film/documentary where the authorities were frightened to intervene.
Maybe Tommy is the fool that rushes in where angels fear to tread, lol.

I cannot disagree, I will be more careful in future, you make a fair point.

Once again - no argument - hopefully we can move on now.

Meanwhile back to the debate.
I have been following with some interest on social media the tremendous support from members of the armed forces to TR.
His original involvement began in his home town , Luton, when returning soldiers and bereaved families were subjected to abuse from some muslim followers.
The MOD seem out of touch with the reality of what this country has become. I cannot think of anyone else other than TR who has stuck their neck out so far to speak against what he, and many others, perceive as a big problem.
Maybe amongst his followers are some you would not like in your company but that goes for anyone trying to get a point across.

I would not disagree that 'Tommy' has a large following for his views, and the way in which he expresses them.
My issue with him is two-fold - firstly I honestly believe that his regular and sustained agitating actually does noting to address one problem, while simultaneously direcdtly causing another one, and secondly, I beleive that his ego has seen him move far beyond his perceived 'man of the people' stance into an attention-seeking virtual carbon copy of the public figures he derides for being out of touch with what is going on.

Once again you have got Tommy wrong, he is not a virtual carbon copy our public figures, they are they are the ones who are out of touch, or at least are afraid of addressing the problems we now face, whereas Tommy is not afraid to, even at a great personal risk.
