Further to my post a few days ago about ordinary French people being fed up with Brussels being devoid of the wishes of ordinary Europeans, it seems that German businessmen are just as sick of Brussels.
Very interesting article. At least the real captains of Industry can see through the Brussels mafia and know where their bread is buttered.
Germany once our enemy and France our Ally. Particularly liked last two paragraphs.
"so surprise to me, protectionist socialist blocs are not the natural habitat of business."
But paradoxically, 3Ts, our business leaders seem absolutely aghast at the thought of the UK leaving the EU and are forecasting all manner of disasters that will follow our departure. I'm with you and do not see the EUSSR and people who want to go out and trade with the world as natural bedfellows. Could it be that business in the UK has become so cossetted with the facilities that our EU membership provides for them that the thought of having to cope without them fills them with dread?
yes judge, but they are politicians they get to spend our hard earned not create it. Their decisions are based on airy fairy ideological factors not often common sense and reason.
‘protectionist socialist blocs are not the natural habitat of business‘
Possibly one of the most oxymoronic sentences ever written on here. If they’re protectionists......what are they protecting?
That would be the financial well-being of their bloc countries wouldn’t it.
You really need to try some joined up thinking, Tora.
You do sunshine. You cannot see what is in front of your boat. What are they protecting? perlease! If you can't see that you ain't qualified to discuss this. I'm not going to embark on another jelly nailing exercise maybe some other kindly soul will explain later.
I always know when you go off on one of your unfactual rants that, deep down, you know you’ve lost the argument, Tora.
So go on, one last chance, explain what these protectionist blocs are protecting if it’s not their own financial well-being (isn’t that the basis of all your Anti EU propaganda?)
And there you have it ladies and gents. If Tora explains what the CAP does, he’ll end up proving that protectionist social blocs look after the businesses they represent. Making his statement that they’re not the natural habitat of businesses look rather silly.
